"Trashed" The Artwork of Punchgut & Scotch

"TRASHED"
tHE ARTWORK OF PUNCHGUT & SCOTCH
JULY 15 - 31, 2010

ARTIST RECEPTION: JULY 15, 7PM-12AM

For the first time, two accomplished Fargo-based artists pair up to showcase their works, ala “Two Artists, One Cup.” For Scotch, a longtime regular contributor for Hustler magazine, Trashed marks the first time his work comes out from under the mattress. Also a prominent local radio personality, Scotch's fans are sure to see a different side of him through his debaucherous illustrations for Hustler, as well as previous work for Cracked, Jokester, and Thwak magazines.

Both artists happen to reside in the area, but their work spans the globe. The ominous collections of Punchgut are displayed and sold around the world after exposure in Art of Modern Rock, The Wall Street Journal, and Disney’s box-office hit Sky High, to name just a few. Punchgut’s style and medium vary like his list of clients, from screen-printed concert posters for bands like Kings of Leon, to commissioned spray-painted stencils and found-object collages for gallery invitationals. Like the
work of Noel Anderson, every Punchgut piece is unlike anything you’d expect to find in Fargo, North Dakota.

Food & Beverage will be provided for your palate pleasures.
